In the case of very wet waste, a not inconsiderable part of the water contained in the waste is squeezed out in the receiving bunkers of incineration plants due to the stack weight. This highly contaminated wastewater is collected at the bunker bottom and treated using technically challenging processes such as anaerobic technology, membrane bioreactors as well as nanofiltration and reverse osmosis. The removal of water from the waste increases the calorific value and thus the efficiency of the downstream combustion process. WELLE Group, as one of the market leaders in this application, has already been able to underwrite 6 projects in 2021.

In the city of Handan (Hebei Province), a plant for 450 m3/d is being built on behalf of Northwest Power Construction First Engineering Co., Ltd. In addition to the turnkey delivery, a 2-year operation management has been contracted. Besides, the other two orders both with the scale of 250m3/d were placed by Northwest Power Construction Third Engineering Co., Ltd in Handan city, which respectively in Handan Eastern Recycling Industrial Park and Cixian ( a county under Handan City).

Two orders were placed by Shanghai SUS Environment Co, Ltd. One wastewater treatment order was placed for an incineration plant in Shunping. Shunping is a county in the west-central part of Hebei province, China. The scope of supply consists of technical services as well as equipment supply and after-sales service. Another order was placed for Qianzishan (Wuhan city). The capacity of this plant is 450 m3/d. In Qianzishan, a two-year operation management is part of the contract.

A sixth plant for the treatment of wastewater from the receiving bunkers of incineration plants was obtained in Dingxi (Gansu province. ) The plant there will treat 250 m3/d. The customer is Zhejiang Wangneng Environment Co., Ltd.

Pu Yanxin, Vice President of the WELLE Group and General Manager of the Water Business Unit says: "These projects won in 2021 show the strength of the WELLE Group in this application.
